Biography

Noga Ritter is a London-based singer-songwriter, band leader, and workshop facilitator whose music blends Hebrew Jazz with global grooves. With songs sung in both Hebrew and English, she weaves intimate and personal stories into a compelling narrative of social-global issues. Her passionate performances, whether stripped-down or with her full 9-piece band, captivate audiences with the soul of her music.

Launching her solo project in 2018, Noga performed across the UK and Senegal, including a sold-out show at EFG London Jazz Festival and performing on BBC1 TV promoting her upcoming debut solo album, ‘Ima’, launching May 2023 with Galileo Music. The album, supported by Arts Council England and Help Musicians UK, features 14 incredible musicians including the award-winning artists Seckou Keita on Kora, Byron Wallen on trumpet, Tony Kofi on saxophone and produced by Liran Donin. In her debut Noga brings Hebrew to its original nomadic sound, tracing influences from her upbringing, travels and encounters.

Alongside her solo project, Noga has recorded and toured internationally with her former project Vocal Global as well as collaborating with artists across Europe, Senegal, Israel/ Palestine, Argentina, Brazil and Sierra Leone such as The Grand Union Orchestra, Jyotsna Srikanth, Mike King Collective, Sura Susso and SAHAD.
